•  CPE Credit

    ACFE CPE Credit

All CPE credit you earn from ACFE courses and educational events is considered fraud-related, while only courses marked as ethics-related qualify towards the ethics requirement. The ACFE offers multiple options for earning CPE, including self-study courses and live training events:

    Self-Study CPE Courses
    Live Events
    Fraud Magazine CPE Quizzes

    Non-ACFE CPE Credit

As a CFE, you are not required to complete Continuing Professional Education through the ACFE. CPE credit from any organization will be accepted as long as the course meets the requirements set for acceptable types of CPE credit and acceptable fields of study.

Below are the steps to identify if a non-ACFE course will be accepted for your CPE compliance:

Step 1: Review the list of accepted types of CPE credits. Your course must meet one of the types of CPE credit and you must receive the required documentation as listed.
Step 2: Review the list of accepted fields of study. Your course must meet one of the acceptable fields of study

Courses that qualify for both steps 1 and 2 will be accepted towards your annual CPE compliance requirements.

Non-Education activities such as your normal job duties, fraud examination and report writing do not qualify for CPE Credit.
