Anti-Fraud Education Partnership
A video message from ACFE Founder and Chairman Dr. Joseph T. Wells, CFE, CPA, provides your students with an introduction to fraud examination -- and the different concepts and skills that this field of study entails.
The ACFE Anti-Fraud Education Partnership makes it easy for your college or university to provide expert anti-fraud training to your students. Universities around the world have become key providers of anti-fraud knowledge and training
through this unique partnership with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. The partnership was established to address the unprecedented need for fraud examination education at the university level. In pursuit of this objective, the ACFE is
committed to providing timely, world-class educational tools and resources to universities and colleges around the world.
The ACFE reserves the right to request ongoing verification of a course.
Qualification
Implement a three-credit hour undergraduate or graduate level course on fraud examination or a related subject. Only four-year colleges and universities are eligible. Community
colleges should inquire by emailing HigherEd@ACFE.com.
To Join
Interested colleges or universities must submit a Resource Request form and a letter of intent on university letterhead. The letter may be authored by the Dean, Department Chair, or instructor teaching the course.
The letter of intent must include the following information:
- Your intent to teach a fraud examination or related course, providing the title of the course
- Instructor who will teach the course (*must be a member of the ACFE)
- Course number as listed on your university’s website or course catalog
- Course level (undergraduate, graduate, or other)
- Credit hours
- Date in which the course will be implemented
- Link to your course description hosted on your university’s website or course catalogue (if currently active)
- Course delivery (campus, online or hybrid)
After review and approval, the ACFE will provide your institution with the online resources listed below to support your Fraud Examination course:
